Energy management series The most precious resource we have as human beings is energy. Most of us however, pay little attention to responsibly managing this finite resource. We are quick to acknowledge the importance of skilfully managing time and money but, for whatever reason, failed to apply the same logic and sense of urgency to managing our energy. We consume energy with little or no regard for where it comes from or how it is produced. When the demands of life require more energy, we simply expect our bodies to ante more of it. When additional energy isn't there, we are mystified and frustrated.
You have heard the old saying you are what you eat. You also are how and how often you exercise. You're how well you sleep and recover. In short you are how you take care of yourself. Energy is at the heart of everything. If you lack energy all aspects of life become more difficult, your time at work, with your children or with your spouse. Energy and therefore life it is important that you write exercise regularly and get proper sleep. It's not a complicated equation

- Goal setting There is a simple reason why people don’t reach their goals. For sustained success and happiness we need to change the expectations we have of our goals. Rather than perceiving them as ends (expecting that their attainment will make us happy), we need to see them as a means (recognising that they can enhance the pleasure we take in the journey). Goals are indispensable to a happy, successful and productive life, to be happy we need to identify and pursue goals that are both pleasurable and meaningful.
